Before we jump into the core features of WeProgress, We want to outline some key steps and phrases for getting your organisation prepared to use the app.
1. Preperation
Org Structure
Document your organisation structure (i.e. departments etc). List the various roles within your organisation and group roles into Career Paths. (Note: This is optional. Not all Roles within your organisation may be associated to a linear Career Path).
For each role, aim to document;
- job responsibilities,
- expectations
- goals.
Training
For each role, document what training is likely to be needed to be completed.
Meetings
Document what type of meetings you have within your organisation e.g.
- Appraisals.
- Weekly meetings.
- Daily Huddles.
2. Teams
Create your internal teams:
Within your departments, you can create a Team. Example: The Sales Department may have a ‘B2B Sales Team’.
Steps:
- Go to Settings > Teams > Click ‘Add’
3. Build Career Paths
Build out your organisation Career Paths. (Follow ‘Career Paths’ Chapter)
4. Assign Trails
Assign useful Trails (Training Courses) to your Career Paths. (Follow ‘Trails’’ Chapter)
5. Create Users
Invite your users/employees to WeProgress (Follow ‘Adding Users’ Chapter)
